Good Morning Don,

Thank you for your email, which contained an excellent write-up on the OFG competition. I was thrilled to hear that one of the Canadian Institute of Floral Design graduates won the people's choice award.

I believe that winning the "Peoples Choice Award" at any artistic competition is always an accurate indication of how "real" people perceive the work of the artists who talents are being showcased.

Inasmuch as the majority of the day to day work in the floral industry will be created with these people in mind I think it speaks volumes about Christine's talent and the valuable and sellable instruction that she (and all students) receive from the Canadian Institute of Floral Design.

So my congratulations to everyone who participated in the contests and helped with the CIFD display.  And I send virtual accolades to our capable instructors – to you Don, and Monica and Nemo.

Don, if you have any pictures of the CIFD display I would enjoy seeing them as well. I watched the news from Toronto but only caught small glimpses of the show. The media appeared to be more focused on the wee bit of snow you had! LOL…

Enjoy your day... work a little ... laugh a lot.... and Take care
